It tells the story of Hugo Park (Justin Chon, Twilight) a troubled youth whose only outlet for angst is a 4D fighting videogame called “Super Turbo Arena”. When Pharaoh King (Jocko Sims, Crash the Series), the Michael Jordan of cyber-sports, announces a tournament to determine who will join his pro-team, Hugo sets his eyes on the prize. But, Hugo isn’t the only gamer who wants fame and glory.

The Descendent is a supernatural action film written, directed, and produced by filmmaker Robert Glickert. It was Robert’s Senior Thesis project at Chapman University film school and was inspired by his love of the wild fun and energy of Sam Raimi and Peter Jackson films. The film was released in mid-2006, went on a long, healthy run of film festivals and sold to Canal + and NBC Universal, where it has been broadcast in Europe, Africa, and the United States.
